And That’s Okay
This weeks’ poll has been extended until December 26, 2024. If you haven’t placed your vote yet, now is your chance.
If I was still in Scientology, I would feel mega guilty, I had missed a deadline. This would snowball. This would cause me to be placed in a lower ethics condition. The Ethics Conditions are as follows:
- Power,
- Power Change,
- Affluence,
- Normal,
- Emergency,
- Danger,
- Non-Existence,
- Liability,
- Doubt,
- Enemy,
- Treason,
- Confusion.
My guess is that I would be assigned Emergency. In Scientology, everything you do, good or bad, is based on your Ethics Condition. This means that every moment of every day, a Scientologist is following one condition or another. Scientology advertises that it is the “Bridge to Total Freedom.” Yet every action you take daily is controlled. The higher up you go the more true this is.
If one’s statistics are contracting (getting lower) rather than expanding (getting higher), the person is in emergency. The formula is:
1. If you are an organization, if you are an individual, produce.
2. Change your operating basis.
3. Economize.
4. Prepare to deliver.
5. Stiffen discipline.
Yes, it’s all gobbledygook, and I’m not going to bother. I had a trip to the ocean, wrapped gifts, and an unfortunate run in with the flu. Between all that, I chose to focus more on life in front of me and less on life online. And guess what? I didn’t feel guilty I’m not going to apply any formula to my life.
If I’m not back before Christmas, best wishes to you and yours.
